According to recently Q&A with Sony’s manager Kenji Tanaka by Imaging-Resource, he said that APS-C category is very important for Sony, and Sony will never leave APS-C market, will treat as important as full frame market. Maybe new Sony APS-C cameras is coming (a77III? a6700 ?).

The Sony a77II was released in 2014, now it is 3 years old, there are plenty of A-mount photographers waiting for successor Sony a77III. According to recently rumors on SAR, Sony a77III currently is in testing in real-life, the development has already finished.
Sony Chinese Photographer Qianli Zhang recently posted on weibo that: A new Sony camera with very fast burst rate and very fast auto focus speed will be released in 2017, but not at upcoming CP+ Show in Japan in February.
Last year, Sony has released the new Sony a99 II flagship A-mount camera, according to recently rumors, more A-mount SLT camera are coming, in 2017, the Sony a77 III will be announced to replace current Sony a77 II.
