Sony has just registered a new camera code WW850128 in China. It has 5GHz Wi-Fi, and registered Sony WuXi, which means this camera may not be a high-end E-mount mirrorless camera. Maybe this is long awaited Sony RX10 V.
Sony has just registered a new camera code WW271448 in China, according to registered info, this camera is registered by Sony Japan, which means it will probably be a new full frame E-mount mirrorless camera, it will have both 5GHz/2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
The Sony a7 IV has rumored for a long time, previous rumors said that Sony a7IV will be announced in February at CP+ 2020, since CP+ show has been cancelled, the release date for a7 IV has been delayed, now according to latest rumors, a7IV will coming later this year.
Update: Bob Martin now confirmed that this is a7R IV, not the a7 IV.
Sony photographer Bob Martin recently posted an image about Tokyo 2020 in Japan. He said this sample image is taken by the upcoming Sony a7 IV, so is this just a typo or he is really testing the Sony a7 IV. Stay tuned.
