Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VC VXD G2 Lens Development Announced !
Tamron today has revealed the development of the 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VC VXD G2 lens, a successor to its original 70-180mm F2.8 zoom lens designed specifically for Sony E-mount cameras. The G2 lens offers several noteworthy enhancements compared to its predecessor. It boasts a new optical formula and incorporates Tamron’s vibration compensation mechanism, providing in-lens image stabilization.
Furthermore, the lens incorporates Tamron’s VXD linear motor, ensuring swift autofocus performance. It also features a close focusing distance of 30cm (11.8″) at 70mm and 85cm (33.5″) at 180mm, allowing users to capture subjects up close with precision.
