EOSHD user Androidlad has leaked upcoming Sony’s new image sensor IMX671AQR. According to the leaked specs sheet, this sensor is an APS-C CMOS sensor, it has 43MP, can record 8K video at 12 bit, it also has stacked DRAM and up to 16 bit depth for stills images.

According to a report from Bloomberg, Sony has shelved plans to develop a new mirrorless camera this year to due Coronavirus and constrained DRAM supply. They are now instead focusing on the launch of PS5.
This is February 2020 version of “What to Expect Next from Sony ?“. Sony currently has one new camera code registered in China: WW119533. So Sony is going to announce at least one camera in early 2020.
