Samyang today has announced MF 85mm f/1.8 ED UMC CS lens for mirrorless cameras with APS-C crop sensors. This lens will be available for Sony E-mount. It is competitively priced and light-weight. This medium telephoto lens inherits the renowned image quality of Samyang’s manual focus series and also boasts beautiful out of focus bokeh and availability for a variety of cameras.
Sony today published a press release that they has overtaken and held the No. 1 overall position in the United States full-frame interchangeable lens camera market in the first half of 2018, in both dollars and units. In early 2018, Sony released their best selling full frame mirrorless camera Sony a7 III, which is still out of stock everywhere.

Sigma has announced they are now shipping out three more three of its interchangeable Art prime lenses for Sony E-mount camera systems – Sigma 14mm f/1.8 DG HSM ($1,599 USD, at B&H & Adorama), Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG MACRO ($569.00 USD, at B&H & Adorama) and Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM ($1,399 USD, B&H & Adorama), and the Sigma 105mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens ($1,599 USD, at B&H & Adorama) will be shipping at the end this month.
As rumored before, Sony a6700 will be a mini Sony a9, and the officially announcement will be later this year. Currently, there is no new Sony camera code registered, this means we will probably see no new cameras announced around Photokina 2018 next month.
