At CP+ Show in February in Japan, dpreview had a chance to interview with Sony senior executives, taking about the future of the a7-series, Sony’s Imaging PRO Support, the future of the A-mount SLT cameras, and Sony’s strategy for growing the 1-inch camera segment.
The upcoming Sony Alpha a9 full frame high-end e-mount mirrorless camera is rumored to be announced on April 23 this month. According to recently rumors, Sony a9 will have a full frame image sensor around 20MP.
On a today’s newspaper, Zeiss has already leaked the upcoming Batis 135mm f/2.8 lens. This telephoto prime lens will be officially announced on April 5, 2017. The price for this lens will be around $1,500, same price tag as Zeiss Batis 18mm f/2.8 lens.
Recently, there are a lot of rumors on Sony’s new full frame mirrorless camera. As a full frame mirrorless camera code name “WW361847” already got registered, so this camera is coming near, probably to be announced at April 23 next month.
