Back in September 2018, during the announcement of FE 24mm f/1.4 GM lens, Sony has released a native E-mount lens timeline, see the picture above. Sony will release a total 12 more native E-mount lenses in near future. Now 2019 is over, in 2019, Sony released 6 native e-mount lenses, so in 2020 to 2021, at least 6 more E-mount lenses will be released.

Based on price of Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 lens and 28-75mm f/2.8 lens, the US price for Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD lens could be $1,199. This is much cheaper than FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM lens.
