Sony today has officially announced the new FE 35mm f/1.8 lens (SEL35F18F), the US price is $748, pre-order options at B&H Photo Video/Adorama, release date in early August, 2019. The FE 35mm f/1.8 lens is a fast medium wide-angle lens for its full-frame a7 and a9 cameras, which fills a hitherto gaping hole in the company’s full-frame lens lineup.
Nokishita Camera has confirmed that Sony will soon announce the FE 35mm f/1.8 lens for Sony full frame mirrorless cameras today, around 10am ET, New York time. This lens will be one of the best selling full frame mirrorless lenses after released.
As already confirmed before, Sigma China has official posted the teaser of Sigma lens announcement on July 11th, 4am ET, New York Time. On that day, Sigma will announce the Sigma FE 35mm f/1.2 lens, Sigma FE 45mm f/2.8 lens, Sigma FE 14-24mm f/2.8 lens, Sigma FE 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.
Tamron Japan has issued a press release that Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD lens (B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon/Focus Camera) for Sony full frame mirrorless cameras is in short supply. Delivery of this lens maybe delayed than official release date on July 25, 2019.
