I’m not sure I get the point of this. Cameras that sell very well are usually in and out of stock. If you order one you will get one eventually. I waited 3 days for mine. I still see the Nikon D850 in and out of stock and how long has that been out?

It took me 3wks to find an A7III in stock and i looked EVERYWHERE. They are basically so far back ordered that they selling out the same day a shipment arrives at a distributor. The only way I got mine was there was an “In Stock” tracker website that sent me an email and I nabbed one.

I went with a local camera dealer. Using B&H or Adorama was useless. I would probably still be waiting. The a7III was out for about 3 weeks when I got mine. I called and had mine in about 3 days. I have found using a smaller supplier works better for getting newly released equipment. Like my example from B&H they are out of stock on the Nikon D850. My local guy either always has one or can get one in a few days. Or worse B&H is closed for for religious holidays and you can’t get anything.
