Sony has already announced the new a6500 flagship APS-C mirrorless camera and RX100 V compact camera. The Sony Alpha a6500 is not the replacement of current a6300, but a new upmarket APS-C mirrorless camera from Sony. So it seems to Sony will also announce a new upmarket or flagship full frame mirrorless camera in next several months, this camera will be Sony Alpha a9.
Along with the Sony Alpha a6500 announcement, Sony also announced the new RX100 V compact camera (B&H Photo Video), it is equipped with a Fast Hybrid AF system with the world’s fastest AF acquisition at 0.05 seconds and world’s highest number of AF points on sensor 1 with 315 points covering approximately 65% of the frame. The camera can also shoot continuously at speeds of up to 24 fps – the world’s fastest for a compact camera – at full 20.1 MP (approx. effective) resolution with AF/AE tracking for up to 150 continuous shots. The US price for Sony RX100 V will be $998, available in late this month.
According to Japanese website Nokishita, which always has the right rumors before, the upcoming Sony Alpha a6500 APS-C mirrorless camera and Sony Cyber-shot RX100 V compact camera will be announced very soon. a6500 will replace current a6300, and RX100 V will replace RX100 IV.

Recently Tokina has announced the Tokina FiRIN 20mm f/2 FE MF Lens for Sony full frame E-mount mirrorless cameras. According to Photokina 2016 Matt Granger’s video on FiRIN 20mm f/2 FE MF Lens, three new FiRIN FE lenses will be released in 2017 to 2018.
