As rumored before, Sony Alpha a7III will replace current a7II in this fall, 2017. Currently, there is no so much specs rumors on Sony Alpha a7 III yet. According to recently rumors on SAR, Sony Alpha a7 III will have a new 24MP full frame sensor, and will have same Autofocus system as on Sony Alpha a9 (Amazon/B&H Photo/Adorama).

The new announced FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM lens (Amazon/B&H Photo Video/Adorama) and FE 12-24mm f/4 G lens (B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon) are both Sony’s latest FE wide-angle zoom lenses announced several weeks ago. Both lenses haven’t shipped out yet, but you can take a look at hands on reviews with sample images by Alin Popescu. The price for FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM lens is $2,198.00 , will be shipping in August, 2017. The price for FE 12-24mm f/4 G lens is $1,698.00 , will be shipping in July, 2017.
Dan Watson has tested the a $6,000 dollar combo: Sony Alpha a9 w/ Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art lens using MC-11 adapter. From the video above, we see that the autofocus on Sony Alpha a9 is really good, and a9 eye’s tracking is also works great.

After Sony Alpha a9 (Amazon/B&H Photo/Adorama) officially announced, next high-end full frame mirrorless camera will probably a high megapixel camera, and the name will be Sony a7R III or a9R. According to recently rumors on SAR, a7R III or a9R will have a 60-70 MP full frame sensor, the announcement of this camera will be after 3-4 months from now, that means we may see Sony a7R III or a9 later this year.
